Starting with the closure of the glove, the EFlex 6 takes a departure from its predecessors for a return to a classic feel. The all-new 581 break come stock on the EFlex 6; inspired by the classic 580 angle and shape, the 581 is brought into a new generation with enhanced closure, feel and responsiveness. The 581 features a form fit with pinky and index finger fit system, with no stalls for the middle and ring fingers similar to the 591 found on the Axis 2. This allows for a more personalized hand position. A double straight tee offers better puck absorption and tracking in the glove.

Internally, the Extreme Flex 6 will feature a game-ready fit with layered foam protection to offer an easy break-in with added high impact protection. A cross form strap secures the back of the hand via multiple attachment points for maximum responsiveness while allowing greater wrist mobility. A Suregrip palm provides comfort, feel, and added control. Finally at the cuff the FlexMotion2 system offers strategic Flex points and layered protection for a greater range of motion.

Finally around to the backhand, CCM offers the HD Flex Motion 2 backhand, which features a strategic tri-Flex design and high impact protection.
