Bauer X-LP 2.0 Ice Hockey Skate Intermediate

The Bauer X-LP 2.0 Icehockey Skate Intermediate is a comfort-oriented ice hockey and recreational skate for players looking for a reliable pair of their own for regular time on the ice. Players who often rely on rental skates at public skating sessions can benefit from a consistent fit, a skate that gradually adapts to their own foot and a solid setup for more confidence and enjoyment on the ice.

For Recreation, Training and Starting Ice Hockey
The Bauer X-LP 2.0 belongs to Bauer's Recreational category and is aimed specifically at recreational players, beginners and anyone who wants to skate regularly. Its construction combines stability, comfort and straightforward handling without making the skate unnecessarily stiff.

3D Poly Carb Quarter Package
The 3D Poly Carb Quarter Package forms the stable foundation of the skate. It supports the foot while skating and provides a durable exterior construction designed for regular recreational skating and hockey use.

Sublimated Microfiber Lining
The sublimated microfiber lining creates a comfortable feel inside the skate. For recreational players and beginners in particular, a comfortable interior helps make longer sessions on the ice more enjoyable.

Anaform Ankle Pads
Anaform Ankle Pads cushion the ankle area and support a comfortable fit. The padding helps position the foot securely and comfortably inside the skate.

30 oz Felt Tongue with Mesh Guard
The 30 oz felt tongue features a Mesh Guard and provides comfortable padding over the instep. This helps cushion the area beneath the laces and reduces direct lace pressure on the foot.

Low Density Foam Footbed
The Low Density Foam footbed provides a soft, comfort-oriented base under the foot. This contributes to a pleasant feel during recreational skating and longer training sessions.

Thermoadjustable Fit
The Bauer X-LP 2.0 is thermoadjustable. Heat adjustment allows the skate to conform more closely to the individual shape of the foot and can provide a more personalized fit.

LS Pro III Blade Holder
With the LS Pro III holder, Bauer uses a proven blade holder for its recreational and entry-level skates. It provides a stable connection between the boot and runner and forms a solid foundation for controlled skating.

Stainless Steel Runner
The stainless steel runner is durable and designed for regular use on the ice. It provides a reliable base for turns, stops and the first technical movements in ice hockey.

A Practical Alternative to Rental Skates
Players who skate more frequently benefit from owning their own skates because the fit and skating feel remain consistent every time. Instead of having to adapt to differently fitting rental skates on every visit, the Bauer X-LP 2.0 can gradually become familiar and better suited to the individual foot.

Intermediate Version
The Intermediate version is listed by Bauer in sizes 4 to 6. It is aimed at players positioned between Junior and Senior skate sizing who need an appropriately proportioned model.
